Corey Johnson’s Surreal Portraits
Q: Why fringe?
A: To test the waters.
Q: What does fringe mean to you?
A: A place where the unknown go about their daily lives.
Q: How would you describe the fringe festival to people who might be confused? For example, they might think it’s a convention of cowboys with mighty fine fringe hanging off of their arms.
A: Do we have any of those? I hope so! If not this year, then next for sure would be great.
Q: What do you do?
A: I show people a thought of them with myself.
Q: What are you doing at Fringe Missoula.
A: Painting and drawing surreal portraits.
Q: Why do you do what you do?
A: I know how.
Q: Why should people see what you do?
A: So that they may have a piece of tangible insight about themselves.
Q:What other performers/artists will you see at Missoula Fringe?
A: I want to see Piece, Douglasses, Jack Metcalf, Rangda Blues, and I’ll probably pop by to watch my buds the Codependents if I have five dollars.
Q: What’s your favorite color?
A: My favorite color is the one I dream of. Language has no name for it.
