Geoff Pepos | Big Blue Dumpster | Art Abandon
What does fringe mean to you?
People with freedom to build community with art. And it’s fun.
How would you describe the fringe festival to people who might be confused?
Confusion is a good thing. Leads to seeking meaning and understanding.
What do you do?
Experiment a lot. Make a lot of mistakes. Many of which I turn into art anyway.
What are you doing at Fringe Missoula?
I built a big blue dumpster. My friends and I will be painting on it. I’ll be making music for people inside and showing a temporal painting with moving mandalas. Also have some pieces in other events. Have been blogging and making videos for Missoula Fringe, along with organizing Art Abandon.
Why do you do what you do?
What else would I do?
Why should people see what you do?
They shouldn’t. If they desire to, then they will. Or they might just run into some of it by accident.
What other performers/artists will you see at Missoula Fringe?
As many as possible.
What’s your favorite thing.
Discovering something new, especially about something I thought I knew a lot about.
